A valid referral from a GP or other medical practitioner is required, by medicare, for every patient seeking specialist medical treatment. Referrals from a GP are valid for 12 months, referrals from another specialist are valid for 3 months. Your GP will be able to provide you with a referral to Dr Gomez at your request.
